Pick the right grind

If you are not sure, take whole bean. Coffee keeps its chaska far longer in one piece than it does as powder.

Whole bean

You own a grinder. Best flavour, longest life — grind the morning you drink it.

Espresso

Fine, for a portafilter machine. Tell us your basket size on WhatsApp and we dial it closer.

Moka

Just coarser than espresso, for a stovetop pot. The Indian kitchen classic.

French press

Coarse, so the plunger stays clean and the cup does not go bitter at four minutes.

Pour-over

Medium, for V60, Kalita or the South Indian filter. Our default for the lighter lots.
