On Landour Road, on the way up out of the town, at 2,005 m. If you are coming from the Mall it is uphill the whole way and worth doing on foot; if you are driving up from Dehradun, follow the ghat road and keep going past the Picture Palace.

The same hours every day of the year, weather permitting. The kitchen stops taking orders twenty minutes before close. In heavy monsoon week the road can shut without notice — we post it on Instagram the same morning.

Where that is on the hill
The pin is the road, not a doorstep — Landour Road runs east out of the town toward the cantonment, and we are on the valley side of it. If Maps sends you to the Mall, keep climbing.

The ropeway station, or twenty-five minutes on foot from the Mall.

A flat three-kilometre loop, no traffic, the ridge on one side the whole way.

Down the Yamuna side. Go early or not at all.

Six to seven hours if you leave before the plains wake up.
